Meditations for Scuba Divers, Free Divers and Snorklers by Thomas Lockie
Thomas S. Lockie graduated from Hawaii Preparatory Academy in Kamuela and holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Literature from Emerson College, in Boston, where he studied with Bill Knott.
He attended UCLA Graduate School and writing workshops with Iowa Poetry Prize winner, John Wood, in Louisiana. He has published articles in Spearfishing Magazine and will be offering his first DVD -RAW HALIBUT in June of 2005. He has been SCUBA diving, and freediving for the last 28 years. Diver’s Meditations is the first in a cycle of dive books. It is the first book to blend the meditative, occult genre, with the standard dive book industry. There will be copycats, but Diver’s Meditations is the very first of its kind, serving as a fountain of meditations, a dive log , and a source of underwater inspiration.
Keep an eye out for more new releases: Freediver’s Meditations; SCUBA Diver’s Meditations; and Skin Diver’s Meditations.
Available in Fall of 2005 will be a box set- Diver’s Meds, of all four books.
