Slippy prevents microbial infections in two ways:
1: It does not “wet” the water so that it is able to penetrate into the hair follicles, it does the opposite, it thickens the water so that it is even more difficult to penetrate the hair follicles.
2: It provides no energy (food) source for bacteria (unlike shampoo or conditioner which are rich in oils and organic acids) thus making a bacterial bloom unlikely in your suit.
It is biodegradable but only if other energy sources are present.

Wow! Great product! Easy to mix for on demand use. Super slippery and easily slipped into my 8mm suit. I would highly recommend!

Amazing product. It’s conveniently small to travel with and you only need a small amount to mix with water. I use this on my 5mm open cell with a spray bottle for easy application. Note that the bottle states that you should use this within 48 hours of mixing. I only mix half of what is recommended and that’s still more than enough. It does not emit any smell before or after getting into your wetsuit and washes off easily with a quick rinse. Would definitely recommend and purchase again.
